With this I can install it by my self as easy 1 2 3.I've been browsing & comparing with all those expensive, vancy looking LOGITECH brand. Also am so darn happy its perfect for SKYPE. This is such a great webcam. And I come up to buy this cam with the budget I can afford. The microphone very clear, So my kids very happy to have the chance to talk to their aunty in Shanghai every once a week. I'm not an hightech person. Am an busy house wife & mother of 2 kids, I don't have time to read those long manuals.
The image quality is too good and doesnt seem like its a 1.3 MP webcam. This is a very good product.
We will upgrade as better products become less expensive. But we are pleased overall because it was cost effective and gets the job done. The unit was reasonably easy to install, after a couple of hiccups. The quality of the picture is not the best - kind of herky-jerky.
Bought a Logitech for $87 and love it. Was $50, but on sale for $27. Picture quality was terrible; couldn't even make out faces on the other end (Skype).
The camera produces an excellent picture and the microphone within the camera itself, emits quality audio. and overseas. Video and audio were right on.I would recommend this product to anyone. Just what I was looking for and the price was in my neighborhood. I bought it specifically for face-to-face conversations with my family here in the U.S.
